TWO-COMPONENT EPOXY ENAMELS
Specific gravity�: approx. 1,2 – Flash point: 135�C

Use : decoration of articles made of precious and non- precious metals (especially zamak-lead-tin alloy, brass, iron, aluminium and the like) and articles made of morther-of-pearl, plastic and similar materials. Plating and smoothing treatment can be carried our using hardener 209.

Operating capacity; for 30 – 40 mind. Following colour and hardener mixing ( this means that excess amounts should be avoided)

Preliminary advices;
1.1�throughly clean articles removing grease to prevent faulty reactions or adherence defects;
1.2�remove any protective material (zappon, paint, glue and the like ), making tests on a few samples before setting up mass production;
1.3�position the article on the oven shelf, using a plastic support if necessary for irregular models or those which are not flat;
1.4�pre-heat the piece by rapidly passing it over a flame or into the oven;
2.1 heat enamels and hardener up to 30�C to improve fluidity;
2.2 thoroughly remix colours into tins using a flat pointed spatula to prevent deposits which would compromise the correct concentration, colour and reactivity;
2.3 ensure that the proportions are exactly as recommended adn do not use dirty tools;
2.4 thoroughly remix by hand all the product and leave for one minute while air bubbles form.

Apply with;
Pneumatic syringe, pump, brush, spatula or by pouring at the maximum temperature of 40�C.
Any air bubbles formed can be eliminated by passing a flame rapidly close to the article.

Drying;
In oven at a maximum temprerature of 80�C for approx. 90 mins, at least 2 hours for hardener 209 (at room temperature: 15- 20 hrs; but the results will be less satisfactory); on curved pieces (using hardener 184/1- 184/3- 184/5 ) at 40 – 60�C for 2/4 hrs. Do not exceed temperature of 80�C to prevent undesir ed effects and colour toning change.

Cooling;
Slow, in the event of too fast cooling, the colour will readily detach from the article.

Health precautions;
In the case of mass production, fume exhauster and gloves should be used and premises should be well aired.
Avoid all contact with the skin; never use solvent to clean the skin, only lukewarm water and neutral sopa. It �s advisable to add thinner to colours to increase fluidity, or to mix products of doubtful compability.

Hardener 177;�It is suitable for the smooth edged surfaces.

Hardener 180; It is suitable for the smooth surfaces without edged. (as glass effect)
The quantity to use; 45 gr.
Hardener 209; It is s�itable for the smooth surfaces. It provides double face- brightener (after 24 hours)
The quantity to use;�45 gr.
Hardener 850; It is suitable for enamelled inflecting-buckling products.
The quantity to use��60 gr.
Hardener 184/1; It is suitable for the bland inclined surfaces.
The quantity to use�30/35 gr.
Hardener 184/3;�It is suitable for the inclined surfaces.
